1st Annual Mary Kay 5k

I recently photographed the first annual Mary Kay 5k race in San Diego. All proceeds went to a foundation that works to stop domestic violence and another that supports research to find a cure for breast cancer. It was great to be involved with the cause and share in the energy and excitement of the runners.

Haylie's Bridals

These bridals of my sweet cousin Haylie were all taken near the Columbia River Gorge just outside of Portland, Oregon. Everywhere I turned there were more amazing backdrops (I'm still thinking about how long it would take to discover all of the possible shoot locations). And, of course, it helped that Haylie is so incredibly pretty and graceful. You can see more of Haylie and her new husband in the engagements section on my site. Congratulations, Ross and Haylie!

Cory LeSueur did our wedding video a few years ago and its the first thing I recommend to my friends and family when they are planning a wedding. He is so incredibly talented. This is a clip from my brother in law's wedding. Good work Cory!!

Henry at 6 months

This is my nephew, Henry. I get to shoot a lot of him so its a plus that hes cute and his parents are so good looking. I know that I'm biased but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a modeling contract in the works...

B&B Lounge

I recently photographed the grand opening of the Beauty & Body Lounge here in San Diego. It was a great party on a beautiful evening, complete with a DJ, an open bar, and specials on all the services offered at the salon. I can tell the girls are very good at what they do and were, of course, really sweet about me being in their faces while trying to work. I definitely recommend stopping by for anything you may need (or just want) done. Good luck to all of you on this new endeavor!

These are some highlights from a session with a very sweet 6 week old baby boy. The shoot was a shower gift for Ali, a first time mom, and it was a pleasure photographing their cute new family. Congratulations again on your new arrival!

Sportsplex USA

I had an opportunity a couple of months ago to shoot some photos for the new Sportsplex website. The hot Poway weather tried to bring me down but the photos turned out great anyway! My favorite is the nighttime shot of the field on the homepage. I had a really fun time working with the web designer Josh Winspear and meeting the cool owners of the Sportsplex. If only it was closer I would be taking up soccer for sure!

We just had a great engagement shoot in Pacific Beach on what felt like the most crowded day of the year! I'm so excited for Chris and Cassie, they seem like a wonderful couple and they have dated almost as long as my husband and I so they have definitely earned it. Congrats you two!

This gregarious 6 year old was such a blast to shoot. She is preparing her first portfolio in anticipation of the Yo Gabba Gabba auditions and I can't believe there is anyone better suited for stardom! We had a great time all around Balboa Park talking about our favorite cartoons and trying to escape the tickle monster. Break a leg Sydney!

UPDATE 8/23: She got the part! Everyone keep your eyes peeled for her this season!
